Barbara is a professional practicing visual artist who creates modern contemporary visual art. Barbara uses many mediums to create her work. Often she will use oil on canvas, 3d works, collage, works on paper, photography and Sculpture.

When using the medium of paint, she creates large and small works that have been described as unique in the way she uses paint. Her paintings are deliberately blurred as if looking through ground glass. She is facinated with the paint quality and likes to play around with a strong image and nothingness. She describes the technique as the out-of-focus, pseudo-photographic technique. Barbara's work has hung in many art exhbitions in and around Sydney, including the prestigious Portia Geach Memorial Art Award Exhibition that is held at the S H Ervin Gallery The Rocks Sydney Australia.

Barbara gained a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from University of Western Sydney Nepean Kingswood Australia after receiving a Scholarship from the University and a Diploma in Fine Arts from Meadowbank College of TAFE Sydney Australia.

Barbara's work land+people+place was recently exhibited at Vienna Cottage Hunters Hill Sydney Australia. She is working towards her next show at Vienna Cottage in 2007.
